Kari is sick of dieting and being overweight. She finds a weight loss spell and decides to try it. Kari does lose weight, all right, skewered on the hand of a famine demon she unleashed with the spell.
Her life is saved by Rahmiel, a Guardian Angel who once defeated the famine demon and is now bound to fight it whenever it appears on Earth.
Ramiel is thrilled to be back on Earth, since he has been in an ice dimension prison for thousands of years. The demon will need to be contained, and Kari will be have to be the bait. But he knows of an Angelic binding ceremony he can do with Kari that will help keep her safe, and keep him on Earth...and he hasn't been with a woman in thousands of years...
